Andres Fernandez
Andres Fernandez is an associate in the firm’s Portland office. Mr. Fernandez practices subrogation recovery with a focus on property losses resulting from fires, flooding, and defective products.
Mr. Fernandez graduated in 2021 from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a minor in Quantitative Econometrics. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law in 2026.
During his time at Lewis & Clark, Mr. Fernandez participated in advocacy competitions, earning Best Oral Advocate in his first year, and, through the Global Law Alliance International Environmental Legal Clinic, served as a research ambassador to Argentina under the auspices of the United Nations to conduct interviews with government officials regarding wildlife trafficking.
Prior to joining Grotefeld Hoffmann, Mr. Fernandez worked as a clerk at a northwestern construction defect defense firm and a personal injury firm in his native Florida.
Mr. Fernandez is licensed to practice law in Oregon.
