Lilla Shkolnikov
Lilla Shkolnikov is a partner in the firm’s San Francisco office. Ms. Shkolnikov focuses her practice on subrogation recovery and insurance defense matters involving products liability, property damage and premises liability matters. Ms. Shkolnikov handles cases in state and federal courts from the pleading stage to resolution, representing clients in mediation as well as jury trials. Prior to joining Grotefeld Hoffmann, Ms. Shkolnikov worked at a premiere national insurance defense firm offering a wide spectrum of services where she represented local and national clientele in lawsuits throughout California. Ms. Shkolnikov believes that strong relationships with clients help to achieve desired results, so she prioritizes client communication and elicits their involvement at every step of representation.
Ms. Shkolnikov earned her B.S. in Psychology, Honors Program from the University of Toronto. She earned her J.D. from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver during which time she attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law for her final year of study as part of a competitive international exchange program hosted by Hastings College. Ms. Shkolnikov is licensed to practice law in California and New York.
Ms. Shkolnikov resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and children and enjoys tennis, swimming and hiking in her spare time.
