Ms. Okwah graduated with special honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Minor in Sociology. She earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2023. While in law school, Ms. Okwah served as a student attorney in the Civil Rights and Federal Practice Clinic, where she represented low-income clients and successfully advocated for an inmate’s release before the Louisiana Board of Pardons and Parole. She also interned for a district judge in Orleans Parish, and served as a volunteer coordinator for the Black Law Student Association (BLSA).
Prior to joining Grotefeld Hoffmann, Ms. Okwah worked for a national creditor’s rights firm, where she successfully represented creditors in consumer debt cases.
Ms. Okwah is licensed to practice law in Texas.

For more than three decades, Mr. Bowman has represented clients in complex commercial litigation, including construction, energy, contractual, tort, product liability, intellectual property, antitrust, and securities matters.
David Fisk is a partner in the firm’s Dallas office. Mr. Fisk concentrates his practice on large-loss property subrogation and construction matters, primarily representing businesses, homeowners, and builder’s risk, property, and liability insurers pursuing property damage claims against tortfeasors and other wrongdoers.
