Laura M. Johnson
Laura Johnson is a partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, where she focuses her practice on subrogation with an emphasis on catastrophic property damage claims. Ms. Johnson’s nationally based practice spans various complex legal areas, specifically in areas of tort, products liability, construction defects, and cases involving fire, explosions, and plumbing and HVAC system failures.
Ms. Johnson regularly handles complex litigation through all phases of dispute resolution, including motion practice, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial. Her approach is grounded in careful analysis and strategic advocacy, ensuring each matter is handled with precision and attention to detail.
Ms. Johnson is admitted to practice in Minnesota and New Mexico, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
In 2006, Ms. Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She then went on to earn her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
Outside of the office, Ms. Johnson enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dog, Charlie Mae.
