Emma Gaddipati is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, where she concentrates her practice on subrogation recovery in catastrophic and complex property damage matters and product liability litigation. She represents insurers in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Ms. Gaddipati has significant experience investigating and prosecuting large-loss property damage claims arising from fires, explosions, floods, excavation failures, and construction defects. Her practice routinely involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams of experts and managing technically intensive matters from origin investigation through litigation and recovery.
Ms. Gaddipati regularly handles complex litigation through all phases of dispute resolution, including motion practice, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration. She has successfully prosecuted consolidated product defect actions and represented clients in both voluntary and court-ordered alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Gaddipati earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science from DePaul University in 2005 and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from The John Marshall Law School in 2008. During law school, she received extensive advocacy training through moot court participation and national products liability competitions.
