Grotefeld Hoffmann proudly shares that Adam Romney has been admitted into the prestigious “Unity and Will” Order by Ukraine’s unicameral parliament, the Verkhovna Rada.
The award recognizes the work of United Ukraine, a charity Adam co-founded, that focuses on direct support for civilians adversely impacted by the war in Ukraine. In the early months of the Russian invasion, Ukrainian citizens in the cities of Kyiv and Kharkiv often took shelter underground in the cities’ subway stations. Adam’s charity, United Ukraine, raised money and developed procurement and distribution networks to supply medical equipment and lifesaving medicines to the improvised medical facilities that were established in those underground shelters. In recognition of those efforts, and for other deeds of courage, patriotism, public activity, and high professionalism shown in the struggle for the unity and independence of Ukraine, Adam and his charity co-founder Nathan Smith were recognized with the highest civil award available to foreign citizens.
Congratulations, Adam, on this well-deserved honor! This award is a testament to your unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts and your dedication to making a positive impact on the world.
