Why We Do It

Grotefeld Hoffmann is committed to making a lasting impact in the community through its contributions of time and resources, as well as providing legal services to those in need.

The firm has established the Grotefeld Hoffmann Veterans Clinic Scholarship at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, the alma mater of our founding partners. This scholarship was created to honor heroic sacrifices made by members of the United States Armed Forces.

Our attorneys and staff are dedicated not only to this endeavor, but also a myriad of other charitable organizations and causes. Given our work dealing with the aftermath of natural and manmade disasters, our employees are avid supporters of the American Red Cross, particularly when hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires strike.

Additionally, we encourage all employees of Grotefeld Hoffmann to actively engage with causes that enrich their own lives and communities. These include: Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Chicago Boys and Girls Club, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics Foundation of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, People Lending Assistance Network, Ronald McDonald House Charities, San Francisco SPCA Animal Assisted Therapy Program, Susan G. Komen, and many more.
